It took until I spent £80+ on bids to realise that a lot of the jobs needed' by people must be fakes. As soon as they view your bid, it's cost you money. As a small business trying to get leads, its definitely turned out to be a very costly way to get clients. Every bid has a different price. They might want to try doing a flat rate for all potential clients, regardless of the intended job.
Some people have ratings, yet there's actually no way to see their reviews or why they've been given those ratings in the first place. Or whether their requests are valid. Which then leads me to believe that the majority of it is fake. Anything to try and get the money for bids. Pure and utter scam!
Always getting charged for adds that says "customer has chosen you" but when I message them they dont reply. When I contact support they say they made the add just for me. How can 10 to 15 people make a add just for me and not a single one reply!
I joined bidvine to try to obtain clients for my piano Tuition business. So far, I have spent money chasing fruitless leads and have gained absolutely no clients. I entered into the agreement where I would only be charged if the client made contact. I received contact from someone today x has found another piano teacher, but I have kept your details in case things don't work out' - bidvine charged me £11 for this. I'm afraid for me this is the final straw. I have removed my card from PayPal so that they can't take any more money from me. Maybe others have had a more positive experience, but I am seriously questioning how legitimate this company is - are the leads' provided actually genuine? Who knows?
I am on the site as a pro every time you say something they don't know how to deal with it's like they send a pre typed answer which can be totally useless they don't read the notes or make promises they don't keep. Anyone thinking of joining this site do your homework first. So long as it is there way you do things they are happy.the service is atrocious. They are losing a lot of money by not listening. They are fools to them selfs... think it will be a long time before I am happy with them again
I advertised my job for Domestic cleaning and twelve hours later, I had a match hired. Coming to mine on Tuesday. So far using Bidvine has been an amazing experience. I will review again after the pro has been and gone. Thank you Bidvine team.
I joined Bidvine last week as I'm a professional saxophonist and was hoping to build my teaching portfolio. I had several leads in 48 hours after up grading to the pro account. I was shocked that each lead was £14! I contacted all leads but know one actually booked a lesson. I grew suspicious after a week as all the leads seem really keen at first then made excuses not to pursue lessons. I checked the bidding timeline which stated the client leads didn't book anyone. I've now read these reviews and £80 pound later I do believe this site is a scam.
I am going to make this brief. Bidvine send fake job requests to professionals. In order to bid/ respond for a job the professional has to pay £8-£15 per job to Bidvine. The clients do not exist! The jobs and people are all fabricated. You may get 15 job requests per day but I can guarantee you that only one will be real (if that!). All you professionals on Bidvine stop bidding and don't waste your hard earnt money. I have collected enough evidence and am in the process of reporting them to Trading Standards. There is another site called Bark which I am currently testing but I think they are generating fake job requests too.
We engaged and met with one of their Traders - paid two thirds of the quote and never saw them again. Traders on bidvine are not checked in any way. We reported the scam - they said they would remove that company
Oh dear. If bidvine were as good as they say I would have stayed. After bidding for customers they would cease communication half way through the process.
Yes Richard. We'd like to go ahead.
Said the customer.
What next?
Said the customer.
Then they were gone. BUT I PAID.
I'm convinced bidvine is not what it says on the tin. Or should I say
PANDORAS BOX
I have spent a fortune on bids with Bidvine and earned little. I had one great client and. 2 nightmares who messed me about, wanted extra work for nothing, and one who I had to fight to get my money from and who then sent me numerous harassing emails which I had to report. I have been messed about by so many. Even had one who said she didn't know what I was talking about when I rang her.
Bidvine should charge people to put in a request for a job doing then it might deter timewasters. We as professionals have to pay; why shouldn't they?
I thought Bidvine was a great idea initially but now think it is a waste of time and money.
Answer: So far genuine. I placed my job, was kept informed by the team and had a match soon after.
Bidvine has a rating of 1.6 stars from 13 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Bidvine ranks 433rd among Tutor sites.
