I love the idea of using the power of social networks to better the world. This website is trying to get its members to provide advertising space on their websites to collect revenue for worthy charities.
Little steps can make a difference!
My son's baseball team was using this site as a fundraiser. I made a pourchase that was supposed to earm 4% to the team. I received an email from Flipgive saying I had earned the 4%. They then only credited about half of that tot he team. Makes you wonder where the rest of the money goes. Not legit, they send you a list of things that "might have happened" as to why you were not credited what they told you they collected. They credited the team $36 out of the $66 that they should have.
While in concept, this sounds great, it's a scam and they keep your money and do not give you credit where credit is due for shopping trips, and to make it worse their help is nonexistent.
