I really should have googled reviews before I placed my order. Like many others, I have a significantly damaged print. The box is not adequate for a rolled fragile print and it got flattened. I'm a photographer and order prints of my work regularly. They either arrive in a heavy duty tube or a sturdy flat box with the print well protected. Fortunately it was not that expensive. I feel for the artist selling their work on this site, it is doing nothing to help the business. Hopefully, I get a refund. My only positive is the print arrived the day before it was estimated.
Print was off center, framed uncentered, they said they would replace the print and today I have an email saying delivery is delayed and they will let me know when it ships. Junk site as far as I can tell.
The product I got was digitally stretched vertically out of proportion. It does NOT match the website or the original artwork. When I complained, they said it matches and they expect me to pay for return shipping. Spent $450 and got something that I cannot live with. What a waste of time and money!
I bought two prints from art.com, despite bad reviews, because it literally is the only company that has the prints I needed for two gifts. Why is this company packaging in flimsy triangular boxes instead of hard drawing tubes?! The prints arrived--as many reviews warned they would--bent, misshapen, and terribly and probably irreparably dinged. I'm hoping with some ironing and framing, they won't be too noticeable, but this kind of package and shipment is unacceptable for a company whose primary business is shipping prints! If you can order from ANYWHERE else, do. UPDATE: Customer service was very helpful and they are sending replacements. Fingers crossed! I will update the review if they are not damaged!
We spent $200.00 on art work. All the prints were low quality. They were wrinkled beyond fixing and had major dented areas. It wasn't at all what they described it to be. Super disappointed! Will never buy or recommend them!
Two pictures were not as I had thought I ordered. There is a difference between different types of art such as print, giclee printing, etc. So you need to be very careful to know which option you are looking at. On the site, that was not clear to me. One expensive picture i ordered the colors are way, way off and it looks terrible. Although will say the frame was nice. So two of my three ordered items I wanted to return, and the return process online takes you nowhere it's a loop process back to the same ineffective page. I wrote customer service, and the only reply I received was an automated one, that asked how my experience was. The chat bot does not work! So basically I'm a stranded customer at this point.
I ordered a framed picture and it arrived with broken glass. It was not bubble wrapped although I paid $50 for shipping. I contacted them and they offered either a refund or another picture. I opted for another picture but asked that they bubble wrap it. They did not and it arrived broken. They will not give me a refund unless I mail it back to them at my expense. Do not buy from this company.
I am really disappointed in the artwork I received from ART.com. The quality of the print is poor. Online the prints look really good, however the prints I received were grainy and visible. This distracted from the artwork. Even though it was framed well, the framing material is cheap. I think the artwork you get from Kohl's or someplace similar is of better quality and I'm not just saying this, I am sincere. I've attached proof of purchase.
Here was my email to them. I received no response at all.
This was my first time ordering from you and I am sorry to say I will probably not order again. I think it is important to hear feedback.
I like the print but for the price the attention to detail and quality of the finished product is not there. There is a thread stuck inside that is pretty visible, there is a gap between the acrylic and the frame that is pretty noticeable and the frame itself has a chunk out of the wood that was painted over. If this was a $50 product I could look past these things. I am keeping it on my wall because it is my bedroom and only I can see these things for the most part, but you should make sure your end product is higher quality for the price point Sorry for the negative message but repeat business is important to you I would think.
I have ordered 2 framed prints. Delivery was fine, condition of frame good, but in both cases pictures are far darker than on the web site. In one case, almost too dark. Details seen on the site are not noticeable in the prints. Disappointing.
Answer: Don't be fooled, this company is a scam, they don't deliver and don't refund.
Answer: I found a print and wanted to have it mounted and framed.
Answer: They make their 800 number a bit hard to find and be aware that who you start speaking with has little to no escalation power to resolve more complex matters.
