I avoid buying in Allegro, but occasionally, I do so when I don't find what I want on another platform.
It seems that they don't control the sellers enough. Frequently, they sell old products that don't work as a new one.
I have had problems (more than one) with returns, exchanges, and reimbursements, which depend in the not always goodwill of the seller. In that case, you are lost because the Allegro platform will not help you.

This company is corrupt company.
Their employees are unprofessional and have been trained to lie.

Don't buy here and don't leave your personal data with this company. Allegro is totally corrupted. It is also not a Polish company. Since it has been bought out in 2008 by Permira which is a corrupt company. Sellers offer fake products and contact sellers after purchase via SMS that the product won't work. The buyer steps down from the purchase and never sees his money again. Or sellers claim that purchased order has been sent out while the product has never arrived. They claim that the courier or pick up station has lost your oder and again your money is gone. The Allegro Buyer Protection is also fraud. They don't step in and they dont help the customers to get their money back. If you complain and request help, the company suddenly replies through automatic chatbots.
But the website collects address, phone numbers and emails.
Stay away from them.

Stay away from this company. They use the seller questions and answers section to spread racism against black people. "Account security, I get strange e-mails in English or broken Polish. Is this a Nigerian scam?"

The company also breaches the EU Data protection policies. They write on their website that they keep the right to refuse the deletion of data and closure of accounts. They also storage the customers and sellers data for 3 years after the account has been deleted. The online platform is spamed with fake sellers and fake products. They work with PAYU to keep your money. In 50% of the cases, they refuse to refund the money. Allegro is since 2008 a British company. This company needs to be reported to the Polish Authorities.

They will send you pictures of the item but they will not show you everything and when you will get the item it will come with damage or issues. Please report to everywhere specifically people from Poland. Help me out to get this message to the authorities!
They took payment as cash through delivery guy to be able harder to show the issue and find people.

This is now 4 month and no correct replay from Allegro.pl. This company got so much cash from Investors 3.5 bln USD. I am business seller for 19 years and they have betrayed me for 4 month. Allegro did collect via partner PayU 1600 PLN from my client. My Long time client ask allegro to cancel and I did agree to refund. Bur money is hold by Allegro. I do not have money and they charge my account of 19 years. I can not buy Christmas gift like I do since they block. 2. Dears, you are total incompetents? Open you eyes and stop you stupid "copypaste" reply or you racist, criminal Company risk big fines in European Court!

Already uploaded and sent you all legal document a month ago from the Tax Department's website and it is the same legal documents that were sent and accepted by all other European Marketplaces like Amazon. Priceminister, cDiscount, Fnac where we Sellers for years and this document is completely legal and contains all the necessary information like tax id, name, address, list of beneficiaries and representatives - please open your eyes before ordering things that are exposed in the document.

I give you 48 hours to resolve the problem or we have no other solution like filing a legal complaint about your Company in a European Court for discrimination and non-compliance with European legislation of which Poland is a member.
