They remove any comments disagreeing with their test's results. Mine didn't match me even in 1%, in response I got a copy-paste e-mail which basically said "don't worry if it's not fitting you 100%, it's still correct!". I read through all the provided links and replied that I still don't agree, and maybe it's a bug on their side (something that someone else has reported on their forums before and they claimed to have it fixed), to which they just removed my account "for my convenience, since I'm not interested in the materials".
The efficacy of their personality test may depend on one's own ability to assess themself when answering the questions, however the the material they provide for a successful test result is thorough and in depth. I found it very insightful.
16personalities.com is where you take a test answering questions about yourself truthfully and it comes back and tells you what type of personality you have and in depth details about who you are.
I know many people who have taken this test as I also have and everyone including myself, were amazed at how accurate the results are. This is one test that I very highly recommend people take. It's truly eye opening and amazing!
As a personality test product, this is not cheap. Most companies probably try to use it for a one-off event, in which case, the fact they force you to sign up for a subscription is really odd. Second, if you don't remember to turn off your subscription, even if you email 5 hours after getting charged, they won't refund the accidental renewal.
If you buy this product, remember to cancel as soon as you start the subscription (you still have the rights to use it for the rest of the month). Otherwise, when you write in, you'll get a response like this:
"Please note at the onset of purchase, the materials were listed as a renewable subscription. Per our Teams policy (https://www.16personalities.com/terms/business), we do not offer refunds for partial/unused months, I'm afraid. It looks like you successfully turned off the subscription renewal today, though, so you will not be charged again moving forward."
For a product that's intended to facilitate better teamwork and communication, I find it particularly ironic that they would treat their customers with the kind of unaccommodating practices that they're hoping to reduce through their product.
This website uses MBTI letters to represent what is essentially a Big Five personality test score as an aggressive marketing ploy that misleads people.
I suggest taking a legit Big Five (OCEAN) personality test instead... and/or one of the more robust MBTI tests plus studying the cognitive functions.
I found the test to be spot on. I was impressed enough to buy the report, back in 2017, recommend it to friends and now recommend it to all of my clients.
Amazing information for those who can absorb this knowledge. Are big words, don't be afraid of a dictionary- its just a tab away!
