Looks like they have a lot of bad reviews. Is this place a scam?

Tried their services and only got requests to "sponsor" or donate for pets that may have been no-existent but no contact to actually adopt a pet

Does Petfinder look ever investigate the adoption organizations? No one ever responds to questions and they know nothing about the dogs on their site

Answer:
The only answer you will ever get is "contact the place/person you got the animal from or who has the animal". NOTHING ELSE.
