Groupon
Questions & Answers

I am waiting for a refund from something I returned at the beginning of October. Every time I ask about it, I am given an apology and a promise of a refund within 5-7 working days. No refund arrives. Today I received an email telling me the 5-7 days have not yet elapsed. I am more than annoyed and have said so, explaining the history and copying emails. Should I report this as fraud, or what should I do? Thanks for your help!

Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!

Never will happen. Contact credit card company and dispute the original amount. That's the only way you'll get your money bag. This company is the worst!

Report them. They do this constantly and people need to know. Do some reviews, tell them you have then reviews. Feedback is the only thing that might change them.

I called my credit card company and put in a dispute. They removed the charge from my card and now the company decided to email me back finally. I sent the product back and waiting for a new one. I have not dropped the dispute yet. If new product is good, then I will.

I agree. Groupon is bs with returns. Report them.

Speak with the customer rep with facts and ask them to put you to the manager. The manager will respond faster

I would report them. They are horrible. I got my credit card company involved, it's still pending, but at least a credit card company has more resources and more clout than I do. I've also written to groupon telling the names of supervisors I spoke with and how unprofessional and mean they where.

When I called directly, I got a refund right away.

I also had a very hard time getting a refund and it was only like 18.00. It became the principle with me. You can contact the better business bureau in your state as well as theirs. Also I contacted the Commissioner of Commerce and the Arrorney General of both states. These are all free procedures that require some effort on your part but it worked for me. I think this company is related to Choxi formerly no more rack as I had the same problem with them. Buyer beware!
