With so many horrible reviews, how can Expedia possibly stay in business? Scamming and lying seems to be a fairly short-term strategy.

Question:

I lost $400 by buying a hotel room on expedia a couple weeks ago. No refund because it was through expedia... if I had booked directly through the hotel I would have been fine. Lesson learned for me.

Answer:
I was totally screwed by expedia and they wasted probably 20 hours of my life - anyone feel me!?

Unfortunately there's not much you can do about it now if you have given them your credit card. Just don't ever use them again
