There is no other service available in my area. I have to pay comcast outrages rates. They hike the cost every few months. Comcast are the worst MRBs.

It was my only choice so Comcast/Xfinity has taken advantage of their monopoly as an Internet provider to sell packages at an extremely inflated price!

Because there isn't any good competitors but Hulu came out recently and it's good so far and prices is much much better

Yes, when I signed up they were the only company. It was either an antenna on the house for free or crooked comcast and I did it for my children so they would have a few more channels to watch.

Upon signing up, they monopolized the area, albeit a small area. There were 2 other providers, but I was new to the area and not familiar with those providers. Comcast spent more on direct mail using their falsely advertised low prices, less all the fine print.

They're my only option with internet speeds that meet my needs.

Not much competition in my area. There is only a choice of two companies. Comcast is all inclusive with tv and internet whereas the other company provides internet and partners with another for tv.
