Does Checkthem write positive spoof reviews on these sites to promote their marketing and sales?

Yes, I believe they do. All the 5-star reviews, which are completely opposite of all the 1-star reviews they normally get, were all posted around the same time frame and have very similar language. What a bogus site.

Yes they do. All of their reviews are fake. They don't answer the phone and their site is down frequently. I signed up for a one time check for $2.99 and was enrolled in a monthly subscription. The monthly subscription is $14 but they charged my card $34.00

No, CheckThem does not write reviews for itself. In fact, quite the opposite-- a lot of these comments seem to be from competitors.
