Very good question, the world we live have lots of BAD than GOOD people, hence to make sure that we do not dealing with FAKE IDENTITY characters we ask for Front and BACK CREDIT CARDS. We are fine in lots of cases for customers to MASK's other card numbers except first 6 credit card number and last 4 numbers, but we need to see the Bank details who issued the card.
