Hi, Was just about to place an order with you, thought I would check the reviews, now I am feeling a bit cautious. It appears the problem is the validity / honesty of the sellers?

Answer:
In my experience, I did not get the book I ordered. I contacted ABEbooks several times and was told that the book was lost in shipping and would be resent. Over a month later the book never arrived so I told them I wanted a refund. I was assured several times that my refund had been granted only to find out I got no money back. It took several more weeks, many e-mails, and some threats before I finally did get a refund. I will not EVER use ABEbooks again!

I am finding the best deals for my books on abebooks, but many of the reviews are less then stellar. I am concerned due to textbook costs. Recommend?

Answer:
Avoid this business if you can. I had been told by a Professor that they were a good site to purchase from - NOT! The "Bookseller" keeps changing the shipping date after first denying they even had an order for me from Abe's. Not worth the couple of dollars you MIGHT save.
