Men's UA Micro G® Valsetz Leather Waterproof Tactical Boots

Men's UA Micro G® Valsetz Leather Waterproof Tactical Boots
I had read the mixed reviews about the quality of these boots, i emailed UA to confirm their warranty & returns policy incase the boots did fall apart straight away, i was satisfied with their response so i purchased the boots.
Upon first inspecting the boots when they arrived i could very quickly understand the mixed reviews, you could see all the little bits of glue holding together the seams and could feel the quality of material had been skipped possibly to focus more on light weight and comfort, immediately i was very skeptical that the boots would last much past a month.
The comfort of the boot is undeniable, i would choose these over any runner i've ever owned, WOW.
Immediately with these boots i found ZERO grip on wet surfaces, to the point its dangerous, wet tiles you almost need to hold onto the wall, even wet concrete is tough.
Very quickly i found as expected the boots began to fall apart around the toe section and the waterproofing essentially was then non-existent.
The bottom of the boots are also completely slick, all the grip is completely gone.
The condition of the boot by the 3 month mark i could not believe, i have never owned a shoe or boot that has fallen apart so quickly, i'm genuinely shocked the product was able to meet Australian quality standards, if the boots were around the $90 mark it would make more sense and it wouldn't bother me, tbh i would probably just buy another set, however to only get 3 months at $180 its a bit ridiculous.
I contacted customer service at around the 3 month mark to follow up on the warranty claim i had asked about before, i told them what had happened, they asked for receipts and photos and seemed to be pretty on the ball.
After i had sent receipts and photos etc i never heard back again, i have followed up 3 times now and still have had zero responses, even if no warranty is going to be honored, some form of response would still be great...
Conclusion - Extremely comfortable boot, its proper US size so order a half size bigger, Poor quality material and build, Poor customer service at this point, Product feels over priced for the value received. My next boot for the same price you can get SWAT boots or similar which i will be interested if its a superior product.

Tip for consumers:

Really disappointed with customer service and really disappointed with quality of boots, I’m unsure how such a poor quality product is of Australian standard.
