I love RVing but I haven't loved it lately thanks to PPL Motor Home. My unit has been in their shop for almost 12 months getting what I believe were simple repairs done. The original complaint, generator need work, two slides not working and the auto leveling system needed two jack replaced in total $8000 in repairs, the jacks was the expensive part and had to be custom made.

Original I picked up the unit in October of 2017 after several promised completion dates that were missed. After I got it home and within a few hours we started loading the RV for a camping trip. I started filling up the water tanks and apparently PPL Motor Homes shut off all the valves to the tank causing it to blow up like a balloon punching a hole through the floor. I immediately called them and they said they didn't touch the vales. Then I was told they would review the security tape; i knew they were lying once he told me that. I reminded him that the unit was there for over three months and it wasn't possible to watch all the footage. That cost me $10k worth of damage that I can't prove but they did work in that area. Then I tried opening one of the slides, the ram they used was to big and darn near push the entire slide out of the Rv. They promised to fix that and the damage done for installing the wrong ram for that slide. It's still not done.

Today, I get a phone call after I've tried calling them countless times; telling me that the RV is ready. You look at these pics, does it look ready? They took the unit apart and that's how they want to return it to me? They didn't even remove their tools. Grease was everywhere. Even on my brand new bed that I slept on maybe 3 times? Blood from one of the mechanics was on the kitchen counter top. A pile of screws and bolts left from them not putting the bed back together. I guess I could have used their tools they left to finish the job.

Here's what's been promised, they will put everything back together except damage cause by the valves being turned off because according to them they didn't do that. Did I mention that as long as I've owned it I've never shut those vales off? They also promised to repair damage cause by installing wrong ram, clean up all the grease and blood and then deliver it to me or my handyman so he can repair the floor.

Bottom line is this, if you enjoy getting screwed and you own an RV, I have the place from you. Otherwise stay the hell away from these people.
