Avoid ordering from this company or Trinorth Lighting They are the same company

I ordered a Halloween decoration Oct 14th a week before my Halloween party Oct 23rd. I put in the Order Notes section I needed the order delivered by a certain day Monday Oct 22nd. On Friday 5 days after the order was placed I sent an email asking them if the order shipped. No Response. I tried calling them and left a voicemail no response. No response. I sent an email later that day using the website contact form hoping they would respond No response. I called their number and the voicemail box was full. Well On Saturday Oct 12th I emailed them and said I would like to cancel the order since it won't likely get to my house by the Party. They responded that they had shipped it out on Friday and it should be here by the end of the week. Which didn't help me. I responded I asking for the tracking number. No Response. On Oct 30th I received a confirmation that the package was shipped. This is means they lied about shipping my order on Friday OCT 18th and they could have canceled my order. USPS showed Shipping label created but it didn't show it was picked up. So I called again and left a vm and asked them if they haven't shipped it I would like to cancel the order since the party was over and it wouldn't even arrive in time for Halloween. No Response. The Package arrived on Nov 4th. It was not packaged well. Their communication is soo poor I don't even want to mess with returning it because I doubt they will issue a refund. It looks like based on the reviews that I wasn't the only person who got terrible service from this company. Worst part about it they had an advertisement saying order now to get your orders before Halloween and they didn't even ship it until the day before. I would avoid this company like the Plague. I ended up ordering the item on Amazon on Saturday the 16th and it arrived on Monday Oct 21st.: Lesson learned.

Shipping & Returns
Shipping Policy:

Tri North Lighting will provide our services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit or shop at Tri North Lighting, you accept these terms and conditions. In addition, when you visit or purchase an item(s) from any business affiliated with Tri North Lighting, whether or not included in the Tri North Lighting website, you also will be subject to these terms and conditions. Tri North Lighting reserves the right to modify or change the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to you. Therefore, we recommend that you please read them carefully each time you use this website.

If there is a pricing error on our website, we reserve the right to cancel and fully refund the order before the item ships. We will inform you of the error, correct the price and you will be allowed to reorder the product online.

All orders will take two to three business days to process. At times we may be out of stock on certain items. In that case, we will back order the item(s) and the item(s) will be shipped as soon as it becomes available. Custom orders may take up to four weeks to ship depending on demand. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us. We Ship via United Parcel Service (UPS) and Federal Express. Shipping fees may be calculated separately from the item(s) purchased or may be already included in our pricing.

Please note that a product may be placed on back order due to heavy demand. If you choose expedited shipping your item(s) will be shipped accordingly once the item(s) is restocked by the manufacturer. Be advised that it could take up to 1-4 weeks for an item(s) to be restocked by the manufacturer. If your item is on back order, you can call and cancel your back order at anytime with no extra cost to you if the item has not shipped. If the backorder item has shipped, you will have to arrange for a return.

Cutting marks for cuttable products are approximate and can be +/- 3 inches in either direction. Color temperatures are approximate and can vary from batch to batch as well so please be aware of this before you place your order. Once we ship an item cut from a spool such as rope lights and LED neon, it is not refundable since it is considered a custom cut product.

Return Policy:

Our return policy is very simple. We have a 25% restocking fee plus any shipping costs at the time your order was shipped. You will also be required to pay for shipping the product back to Tri North Lighting. We do not accept any returns for products that are cut from a spool such as fiber optic cable, led neon and rope lights. Therefore, if the product is cut from a spool, it is non refundable. Because they are made to order, custom ordered Dance floors, custom ordered lighted trees, Floating lighted shelves and liquor shelves are non refundableonce an order is placed. We will not accept any returns of products that have been modified or tampered with. We will not accept returns of products that have cut electrical wires, Data wires or DMX connections. Cutting and modifying any types of electrical or data connections voids any manufacturer's warranty, voids any electrical listing and can be dangerous. You have ten (10) business days from the date you receive your order to retrun the item.

We make the return process very easy so you do not need to wait on the telephone for a return authorization. All you need to do is to simply ship the package back to our company at: TNL Lighting RMA Returns, 10 San Fernando Lane, East Amherst, NY *****

The package must be postmarked within 10 business days after you recieve the item. If the items are not postmarked within 10 business days, Tri North Lighting, Inc. will not accept the return. All material must be returned with the original manufacturer packaging. If the original manufacturer packaging is not returned with the item, we will not accept the return. Once the product is received by Tri North Lighting, we will issue a credit in one of the following two forms: (1) a credit will be issued to the credit card used for the purchase or (2) a check will be issued to you as the purchaser. This will be determined by the manner in which the product(s) was originally purchased.

Damaged Items

If you receive your product(s) in damaged condition, contact us immediately for replacement instructions. You have five (5) business days from the receipt of your product to report any and all damaged items. Should you fail to notify Tri North Lighting within the allowable time-frame, we will not file a claim for damaged materials and you will be required to replace the items at your expense. In the event that any damages are covered under the manufacturer's warranty, you may contact us within the applicable warranty time period and we will assist you by providing the manufacturer contact information. Tri North Lighting, Inc. is not responsible for manufacturers warranties.

The only reason they're getting one star is because...

The only reason they're getting one star is because I cannot give 0 stars. Where to begin? I ordered a dress from them on November 25th. The only reason I ordered from them in the first place was because the dress I wanted was only available in an XS/S anywhere else I looked for it. So I place my order on November 25th, early enough that I would receive my product by the date I needed it, December 13th. What a funny joke. The website allows 3-5 business days for processing, packaging, and shipping. I ordered it the night of the 25th so I didn't count that day, as it probably wouldn't be received until the 26th. 27th doesn't count as that was Thanksgiving, a lot of companies give that Friday off so I decided not to count Friday, and then the weekend obviously doesn't count. So I decided on Wednesday, at least 4 business days and 8 days total since the order, that I would email them to check my order status. I got a prompt response, which was nice, they said that it would be shipped either that day or Thursday. OK, cool. So nothing Wednesday, nothing Thursday, so I call Friday. At this point it is 8 days away from the day I need the product, so I'm getting nervous. Well when I call, nobody answers, I leave a message explaining the situation, and about an hour later I have an email saying the product shipped. I am very excited by this as I'm at comfort knowing that it will be here by my date. This is where I get absolutely livid with this company. They email me on the 5th saying that the product shipped, no worries. Then on the 10th, FIVE DAYS LATER, the USPS emails me saying a shipping label is just being created? First off, I have products that I order and get to my house in 5 days, let alone the fact that they LIED to me to get me off of their back, and in turn the product doesn't ship for another 5 days. This is completely unacceptable. So I need my package technically by the 12th, because my event was on the 13th, and it gets to my house on the 13th, therefore making it an absolute waste of my time and money. Not to mention the fact that I tried it on and it hangs off of me like a garbage bag. Nowhere near being true to size. I thought hey, maybe I'll just save it for the same event next year, but now I plan to return this because not only did it take THREE WEEKS to get to me, but it was a complete disappointment once I got it. I'm so excited that I have to eat the shipping charges to return it too, considering nothing here is my fault, in my opinion. On top of that, I received no receipt with my package so how are they supposed to know it was mine when I return it? This company will never see another dime of my money and I hope that they don't see any from anybody else. The time it took, lies I was told, and overall unprofessional demeanor of this company is completely unacceptable, and I am very disappointed with my service.

"Very Very poor service Called to check on my order...

"Very Very poor service Called to check on my order and they said due to storm will be a few days, called back a few days later because ups told me they have not touched the package and the store told me ups should get it by Friday or Monday, called back on Monday said you are number one priority as soon as the ups guy picks it up there will be an email sent to you with the tracking number within the next two days. Waited but I did not receive a tracking number after being told several times ups would pick it up tomorrow. Called back said should get it by the end of the day if not call us before we calls at 5pm today. The next day When called and left a message (avoid calls) said I want my order or my money back. Then get a call back saying we intercepted your order and refunding your money... They sure where able to get the money out of my account for the order though... there's more to it this is the short sweet version.
