We came back here August 27 2022 after not coming here for 7 years because the last time we came here we had a bad experience, but we're told to come back to have a better experience because they have new owners and supposedly fixed it up. Instead of a better we had a worse experience. Upon coming in an old guy security guard wanted to insult my 9-year-old daughter by calling her Honey boo boo when my daughter looks nothing like her they don't even have the same color hair eyes or skin tone his comment was absolutely uncalled for because he was insinuating her weight. My husband and I were infuriated about that. Continued to our first ride which was one of the roller coasters stand in line for an hour almost get there and the ride breaks down. We were able to go through the haunted castle which you had to pay extra for fine. We decided to go to the water park since it was open and just like last time most of the water park was closed we changed out and come to find out they shut down the slides to open the lazy river for 4 hours. We changed back out and like before half the amusement park is closed we literally counted at least 10 rides if not more quotes. But of course the ones you have to pay extra for we're open. Their biggest roller coaster along with their newest one and numerous others were closed along with numerous other rides. It seemed like they wanted to keep open a lot of the baby rides you would find it Fest. At 4:00 p.m. they open the water park and what do you know only two water slides are open the tube slide was probably an hour long and they had a body slide that you had to get in that same line for. They decide at the last minute to open up one of the speed slides even though there were at least six other slides closed and literally 5 minutes after they open it the lifeguard that is supposed to be watching it takes off for a half hour leaving everything at a standstill. That same lifeguard left the slide once again and blew her whistle in my ear right next to me. The water was absolutely filthy. As well as any of the food places we went to anything we wanted they didn't have or were out. We actually left earlier than we anticipated and stopped at guest relations on the way out and we're told that they couldn't give a phone number for the manager and for us to walk all the way back across the park to see if one was there. Did not seem concerned about anything of our complaints. After we left we called and had to be transferred to try to get to a manager and the lady on the phone when we told her about the security guard and the lifeguard didn't seem to care and then said she would have the security manager have a talk with them, and gave the whole short staff and maintenance on rides even though the same slides and rides have been closed for years nothing ever got fixed with this new ownership. She wouldn't transfer us to a manager. Come to find out that same security guard has made ignorant comments to numerous customers. And if you don't like bugs or are allergic to bees I advise you not to go as there is tons of them. This will be the last and only chance I ever give Indiana Beach and we will definitely not be back unless there's a major renovation and change.
