The headline pretty much says it all. I ordered Dandly Blend on July 10th and they said it would arrive between July 20-28th. I happened to check my order by going into the iherb site and read that the contractor had tried to deliver the product on July 19th at 240pm but was "unsuccessful". I explained that everyone was home at the time and that our doorbell works. What followed were many daily emails back and forth with a lovely person named Nathalia. They told me the product had been returned to the warehouse in Burlington but it would be delivered by today at the latest. I asked a number of other questions about where it is and why it couldn't be delivered which could not be answered. Today, I received an email saying that our house was not safe to deliver to and they had cancelled the order and they unilaterally refunded my account, with money due in five business days. They offered me free shipping on my next item. Amazon, Fedex, DHL and all the others deliver to our house all the time - there is nothing unsafe about it. I didn't drink any Dandy Blend for nearly three weeks while waiting for this delivery, and now have to re-order from somewhere else. The deal was too good to be true. I rate them below one star.

Dear Maury,
Thank you for contacting iHerb.com customer support. We apologize if there's a problem with the delivery. We want to help.
We received an update from our logistics team and we would like to sincerely apologize, as per carrier the order is undeliverable because there's no safe drop. As per carrier, they don't have a safe a place to leave your order.
With this, I have processed a full refund with an amount of CA$46.05, it will be credited back to the payment method you used during the purchase. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for it to reflect in your account.
You can reprocess the order and we would like to offer for the shipping fee to be waived on your next order. You can use DHL and provide us your new order number and we will manually apply the discount on your order.
Let us know if you need further assistance. We are here to help.

I was a first time buyer from iHerb. NEVER AGAIN. I placed an order on Dec. 11,2020, and immediately received a confirmation email. Email stated my order was estimated to arrive at my residence Dec. 14 - Dec. 16.
After a couple of days, I attempted (several times) to log into my iHerb account to check the status of my order, and it said my account was "inactive" and that I had to "contact customer service." I tried to resolve this issue via iHerb's automated bot several times, but was unsuccessful. Began to feel like I was getting the run-around. I finally emailed the company, and a representative emailed back on Dec. 14th, stating: "From account info, something abnormal involved & it's suspended for using." The representative made NO attempt to help me resolve my log in issue… and also made NO mention of any problems with my order.
My order did not arrive between Dec. 14 - Dec. 16. Suspecting that something was not right with this transaction, I checked my credit card. To my surprise, I observed that the order was charged to my credit card, and then refunded, all on the same day – Dec. 12th, one day after I placed my order! Not sure why the company cancelled my order?, and not sure why the company did not inform me of this? They had ample opportunity to do this!
On Dec. 16, I decided to give iHerb one more chance, and sent them one final email. I asked the company to please have someone contact me to resolve my account & order issue. I also attached a screen shot of iHerb's original confirmation email of my order. I got NO response.
I am not impressed with this company at all. While they may carry numerous brands and offer great sale prices, I feel that they are not operating in a totally aboveboard manner. After investigating the company online, I found MANY bad reviews about iHerb, especially as it pertains to suspicious cancellations, shipping problems, and terrible customer service relations. I also noticed that the company always seems to have a "skilled" response (or excuse) to all online customer complaints.
Buyer beware…before placing an order with this company, I would advise all individuals to please do your own research about iHerb. I wish that I had.
FYI… I ended up ordering from a competing company located in Miami, FL. It was like night and day, with no "shadiness" involved. Very refreshing to have prompt customer service and shipping. They now have my repeated business, and I will refer them to all my friends and family members.
Goodbye iHerb! You will never disappoint me again. I would highly suggest you take a hard look at your business model and customer service relations.
I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing! What a nightmare! Before ordering, I contacted the company to verify the product they had on their website was indeed the product they would be shipping (since this product is no longer being manufactured and has been replaced with a different formula to which I am allergic). They said it was. I asked about their return policy, because I had other companies send me the wrong item and wanted to make sure I could get my money back. They said I could. Lo and behold, they sent the "new improved version" NOT the product they told me I would get. I filled out the "request for return" form - they never responded. I contacted customer service - they only offer online chat - no other way to reach them. They started arguing with me that this was the same product with the same ingredients and they would not allow me to return it. I told them I had actually been in contact with the manufacturer who confirmed this was a change in formula. THEN they wanted to know what ingredient I was allergic to - WTF? I told them I wanted my money back, it didn't matter what ingredient I was allergic to. They said I could send it back but I had to pay shipping. NOPE. Kept arguing and finally got a shipping label. Immediately sent the product back, receiving detailed information from UPS on delivery date, who received it, what time, etc. Never heard from them. Contacted them a 2nd time to inquire about my refund. Gave them the reference # of initial chat, pictures of all confirmations of delivery, etc. THEN they started all over with "why did I want to return it?" and "ok, we will issue you a refund once you return it and we receive it" WHAT? I SENT THEM PICTURES OF THE CONFIRMED DELIVERY AND RECEIPT! After nearly an hour on chat, they finally said they would issue a refund and send me an email confirming it. A week goes by and - surprise - no email and no refund. Contacted them a 3rd time - once again, sent pictures, copies of previous chats - and they wanted to start all over again with why I wanted to return it. NO. Gave them 3 days to issue refund or I would contact every agency I can find to report them. Today is the end of day 3 and NO REFUND. THEY HAVE THEIR RETURNED PRODUCT AND THEY HAVE MY MONEY. I will be contacting every agency I can find to report them.
IHerb Case.
Earlier this year I made a small purchase of vitamins from the Dutch registered company iHerb. I don't normally buy anything from this company but in fact my normal supplier Puritan's Pride was temporarily out. I did do a small amount of research before purchasing and everything with iHerb seemed to be above board.
The goods duly arrived, shipping had been not too fast and not to slow, and the product multivitamin in this case - seemed to be OK. So, no problem there.
Then at the end of the banking period I received a statement that was surely wrong and indicated that iHerb had made four separate withdrawals, each for different amounts and amounting to almost 700 US$ from my credit card.
I only get credit card statements each three months so it was already two months after the withdrawals had taken place. Accordingly, I immediately contacted iHerb who requested evidence in the form of my bank statement, which I supplied to them by return.
There followed a number of email exchanges with various people at iHerb namely:
Aiko Y, Ryan N, Mervin M, Christian S, and Del - with a different person replying each time which is always suspicious. Due to the similarity of the messaging, and style, I strongly suspect that this is just one person.
During these interchanges they (he/she) mentioned an investigation into the matter by iHerb; told me that my account had been locked due to possible fraud also presumably by iHerb as this is where the money went to, and after a couple of weeks culminating with the advice that I initiate credit card chargeback procedures, though it was far past the possible time limit.
After that repeated emails received no reply.
Facts:
1. I made a small purchase, and gave my credit card details to iHerb for that purpose.
2. The purchase arrived, but I cannot vouch for the quality of the items and I don't have that testing facility.
3. iHerb then made four separate, and completely unauthorized withdrawals from my credit card account that had nothing to do with any purchases to the tune of almost 700 US$.
4. Contacted, iHerb then used delaying tactics to make absolutely sure that credit card chargebacks were no longer possible.
5. I have been deliberately robbed of almost US$700.
Conclusion:
In these cases, one can only really rely on the honesty and integrity of the company involved and hope that it was just a mistake that can be rectified by the return of the money. In this case I had complied with requests for evidence, and can prove that the money was deducted by iHerb, I now conclude that this was deliberate and fraudulent.
I placed an order with you guys 7 weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. I've contacted you now 10 times and DHL four times.
My order # is *******-0
In every instance, either you or your shipping company has refused to accept responsibility. Finally yesterday, a DHL representative told me a bunch of IHerb shipments sent via Global Mail have been going missing in New Zealand once the packages arrive in Auckland. I've contacted New Zealand Post and they have no record. I've concluded that someone either in DHL's Auckland office or the NZ Postal office is stealing the packages. I want a refund and three units of the same item I've ordered or I will continue to post negative reviews of IHerb on every review site I can find.
Here is a copy of the last review of your company I posted:

I'm a busy guy trying to run a small business and take care of my family. I don't have time to have to write you ten times when you fail to provide what I've paid you for. You chose the shipping method. Your are ultimately responsible for this situtaion.
You guys have terrible customer service and management and deserve to suffer the consequences. You are also bad people. A pox and gypsy's curse on you and your families.
Sincerely,
Casey Cravens
A week ago I ordered products from iherb. I payed 80 euros with ideal. Minutes later I got a confirmation. I was happy that I got a good deal on my products and could not wait to get my stuff. After a few days I noticed that I had a message on my iherb app. It said that my order was cancelled because I did not pay. What? I quickly send out an email to iherb about this. Just to be sure I put a picture of my bank account, the payment and all of the information (such as order number and that I payed with ideal) in te email. A few hours later I got a very strange email back. It seemed like an automatic message, saying they did not received the money, saying that I payed with credit card and that I needed a code from my credit card bank? I clearly said that I payed with ideal. This just went back and fort a few times... They send me the same email over and over again. Everytime a different person. What the... Then finally they send me an email that made sense. They told me that the money didn't directly go to them but through Adyen (makes sense cause thats what it said on my bank account) and that they will contact them about this issue. Just to be sure I contacted Adyen through email myself. I got a response from them immediately and they told me that they did transfer my money to iherb, they even sent me the details. Turned out iherb was lying. I send the email I got from Adyen to iherb. Then I got a email back from the same person who blamed adyen. Apparently they had now linked my payment to my order. Finally after 9 emails... I am a very patient person so I told them that it was ok if they send me stuff regardless what happened and that I did not need the money back. I seriously got a email back saying they could not deliver the stuff because of security reasons? And that they will give me my money back. Are they for real? I spend a few hours looking at stuff and going through all this BS for nothing. Ridiculous. To top it off... they ask me if I wanted to contact my bank and ask if they could accept the refund. What are these people talking about? My bank does not need to accept things or deny things. That is not how my bank works. So I told them I would. I didn't because I knew it was BS. A day later my money was refunded and back on my account. Again with the lies iherb. It did took me a week and a lot of hours of writing emails before I got my money back. Never will I ever place a order on iherb again. Liars and thiefs!

My order was 255$ CDN placed beginning of the 3rd week of December, we are currently January 11th, and my order has not arrived, yet DHL claimed it was delivered. Even though a signature was required upon delivery for such a big order, there was a blank space on the 'proof' of delivery where the signature should be (because obviously I did not receive it...) but IHerb keeps stalling and giving me the runaround making me jump through hoops for with emails back and forth, while I keep repeating I am waiting for a solution right away, either to be sent my order through a more reliable carrier, or to be refunded! I have opened a dispute through paypal and currently awaiting for their response through paypal though they have yet to do so there. They now say a signature was not required and to check with neighbours as maybe someone else got my order?! I cant begin to stress how much is wrong with that 'solution'... how can a signature be required and suddenly conveniently NOT be required after my order has allegedly gone missing or was supposedly 'delivered' and yet I am still waiting and I have nothing, just 255$ lost with no real solution for their customer! This is the second time I have ever ordered from IHerb and the first delivery also had a problem but was resolved through CanadaPost. This second order was bigger and I chose DHL (never used them before this and certainly never will again!) because it said the taxes and duties are prepaid which I though was great, but now the fact that my order is lost, and it was a BIG expense for me, and IHerb seems to refuse to want to refund me or at least resend my order through a more reliable carrier like UPS which I even offered to repay additional taxes for, that's how exasperated I am with this whole situation, and they are still stalling and repeating that it has been delivered and to check with neighbours! And if anyone else DID receive my order, with all those items, I HIGHLY doubt they would admit it or return it to me! As Im sure they would have done so by now. IHerb have asked me to confirm my address twice now! So my address and name was clearly written on the package if anyone else had it delivered to them they would have returned it to me by now, right?! THIS SHOULD BE IHERB'S RESPONSIBILITY AND THEY ARE NOT TAKING ANY FOR IT AND IM THE ONE WHO IS PAYING THE PRICE! I am so beyond stressed out over this and I feel so stupid for not doing my research on this company before but if you ever have any issue where an item is not delivered, this company will NOT take responsibility for it and you will lose your money and go through a major headache trying to beg for them to do something to help! This is awful! :(
