After having my $50 eBay plus voucher used and then the order cancelled, I would like you to read how bad there customer service is, especially according to Lendl Khan, the head of complaints, the dumbest person I have ever spoken to. Enjoy!

Each entity in eBay is bound to a certain terms and condition
Lendl Khan14:54 PM
Id like to know how you find this unacceptable when we had this in our terms and conditions which si you even areed in the first place?
Nroprb14:54 PM
I understand but it is not set in concrete, there are valid exceptions
Lendl Khan14:55 PM
There is no exception to this
Lendl Khan14:56 PM
Thats why the terms and conditions were set to gain structure on the voucher usage
Nroprb14:56 PM
Because I did not use any part of my $50 voucher, that is why I find this unacceptable.
Lendl Khan14:56 PM
Which I see that you agreed way before joining eBay plus
Lendl Khan14:56 PM
Okay lets be honest in here, Youve used the voucher
Lendl Khan14:57 PM
It cant be redeem ed itself without putting the code the checkout, so its used
Lendl Khan14:57 PM
So for whatever outcome that purchse wil no longer be supported with the voucher usage
Lendl Khan14:58 PM
Since vouchers are only good for ontime use
Lendl Khan14:58 PM
One time*
Nroprb14:58 PM

Lendl Khan14:59 PM
Look I hope you reflect to your message with the common sense youre saying
Lendl Khan14:59 PM
Its very clear we have a terms and conditons, you even agreed to it
Nroprb14:59 PM
Yes, certainly do.
Lendl Khan15:00 PM
How is that hard for someone to understand when you even agreed to it in the first place?
Nroprb15:00 PM

Lendl Khan15:00 PM

Nroprb15:02 PM
No I dont! It is not right.
Lendl Khan15:02 PM
Its very loud and clear when we said this in the beginning which you agreed, so how did this become a problem now?
Nroprb15:03 PM
I am sure there is someone above you with common sence, please forward this chat to them.
Lendl Khan15:04 PM
If we talk about common sense then for sure you'd know that terms and conditions arent just posted in the website for write ups
Lendl Khan15:04 PM
Its a basic rule that everyone follows
Nroprb15:04 PM
Just please forward this on.
Lendl Khan15:04 PM

Nroprb15:04 PM
I doubt that.
Nroprb15:05 PM
You have no understanding of customer satisfaction.
Lendl Khan15:06 PM
I trust Ive alraedy provided you the resolution. If you think that answers are unacceptable based on how you personally comprehend our rules which you agreed in the first place. Then we'd respect if you take other relevant options.
Lendl Khan15:06 PM
Its rule. And no one is above it. Its written and made so that everyone observes it
Nroprb15:07 PM
There are always exceptions.
Lendl Khan15:07 PM
If we just breach a rule just because our consumers wouldnt like it then we wouldnt be talking right now as this buiness woudl certainly sink

Appreciate your time. Thanks for contacting eBay, have a good day!
I am a new AU ebay buyer, but I will never buy from them again. Be careful if seller is claiming she sells Royal Albert - Made in England. She normally sells in full set. Remember do not give her deposit and cash because she will not refund to you until you negotiate over a month! Please read below:
I recently bought from a seller in Ebay Australia for a set of royal albert old country rose coffee set. Before I made payment, I emailed the seller asking the condition and quality of the products. She confirmed they are brand new, no chips, no scratches, new and never used, and also they are classified as first quality ( the quality only sells in department store). Therefore, I trusted and paid the seller. On the day I picked up my goods as she requested, she wrapped all products for me and I only checked a few pieces. I made a big mistake to pay extra $150 deposit for other products as I over trusted the seller at that moment. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found the products are in poor condition and they are suspected as second quality. Some china with chipped handle, scratches, used and also many marks underneath of the backstamps. Also, a cup has a backstamp printed as ROYAL ALB' Bone Chin', missing the remain letters, a letter A is fall apart from the word CHINA, marked with gold pen aside. (See picture) They are really not as description from my understanding. I send my pictures to a UK antique and collectable china shop, they confirmed a plate with a different shape in the set, also the backstamp maybe scratched, so the letters are missing. Google the links for the classification of first and second quality. Must check the backstamps and justify with your own knowledge.
Of course, the seller refused to return, refund and exchange, she said the products are as description with no issues. She also denied to pay back the deposit I made to her at the beginning. She was rude and unhappy. Luckily, I kept all emails to proof I overpaid her re the deal.
At first, I tried to get Ebay to help so I raised a dispute via Ebay, but they only replied the products that I bought are not under the 'Guarantee Money Back Scheme' and so they simply closed the dispute. I reported the issue to ACCC and re-checked with Ebay (Live Chat) and contacted my card center to help. At the end, Ebay reviewed the issue and told me that they actually created a guest account via Paypal to protect their customer, and so I could contact Paypal for a refund after investigation. After the full process of dispute, Paypal and card center helped me to get the refund of $310 once I returned the china.
The seller at first broke her promise and refused to pay back my extra payments. Now, my cash and ebay order are refunded.
Be careful when you are trying to buy Royal Albert, Wedgwoood, Waterford from online shop. Seller will try asking you to pay by cash as claimed that she doesn't know how to use Paypal. Actually she is very professional in all Ebay and Paypal's policy!
According to my experience, seller would ask you to buy in full set for a lumpsum of profit. She would emphasis her products are never used, new, brand new and perfect. She claimed she is in a retirement and moving to country side soon, I paid cash to her due to my sympathy but I expected the products are in good conditions too.
She has many stocks and claimed they are made in England, 1962 designs that she bought in 1990s. She said she never used the products and they are brand new...
I would say, not all seller like this one. I found 2 local sellers are very trustful, but they don't sell many old royal albert.
Do not pay cash and give out personal account details to this seller. A Scammer! Paypal and ACCC advised not to give this seller any account details. Don’t trust her, she denied everything.
Royal Albert Old Country Rose Coffee set, cake plate and tea pot
Dear ebay, I sold an item on ebay recently and as a trader of 17 years had a terrible experience. Let's begin at the start. My first, and only mistake was entering in the incorrect tracking number, allowing the buyer to pretend to filed a no-delivery dispute. I told ebay that I needed to contact Australia post and file a investigation to get the tracking number and this would take a couple of days. The buyer of my product had a very shady feedback (more than 20% negative) while mine remains 100% positive feedback.
I told ebay I needed only 1-2 days to fix the tracking details, and the item had actually been delivered and the buyer was lying. The buyer made a false claim/statement firstly for 'none- delivery', then change their story to "an empty box" arrived. I told ebay to consider this buyers history and that they may be running a scam on ebay, but surprisingly nothing was done about this. But wait, it only gets worse. Ebay then sided with the buyer in the dispute process and refunded them within 24 hours when I disputed the claim saying I had the correct tracking and prove the item was delivered. When I asked "how I can I upload my proof" that the item was actually delivered, ebay ignored this and closed the case.
The item was subsequently delivered to the buyer and I had to refund them $60, while they received the game, lied to myself and ebay. They have since hidden their poor feedback history of previous complains and rip-offs.
Ebay - you could have spent 3 minutes looking at their trader history to see there was more to this case than usual and it may have require some investigation. You also could have allowed me just the 1 day required to update the tracking number showing delivery. A fact when paired with their statements in the dispute process, proved them to be making contradictory statements about firstly it not arriving, and then it being apparently empty.
- Why was I not supported as a seller on ebay to upload my evidence? Why was this ignored and not allowed?
- Why am I $60 out of pocket and why do I have liaring negative feedback on my profile, when I did everything by the book?
I am disgusted with ebays process and the lack of investigation. I have been a trader on ebay for 17 years with over 380 confirmed trades, 100% feedback, but this meant nothing and was not taken into consideration.
