Account payment Info was fine for 1st "Because" order #HEX**********H of $49.19 on September 15,2022.
(I created a "Because" account per their directives in order to be able to receive their products. I opted out of receiving their cheaper "sample" and, instead, chose to receive their "page pop-up" offer of "$45.00 introductory offer" of 120 Overnight Bladder Pads... my choice of pads for that offer. At that same time I also ordered their automatic monthly deliveries of 120 Overnight Bladder Pads since this would be one less thing to have to think about.)
On September 15,2022 the correct amount of money was also taken from the correct account almost immediately! No payment problems whatsoever.
On September 17,2022 at 10:45 a.m. I received a "Because" text from *******545 informing me that my HEX**********H order had been shipped via Fedex, and I was given the correct Tracking Link. Three days later my order arrived in good condition and with the correct pad types and amount.
I was very pleased with how the product looked, the time it took to arrive here, and the info they sent regarding this transaction.
On Wednesday, October 12,2022 at 9:38 a.m. I received a text from *******545, telling me:
"In 3 days, we'll send your next shipment of "Because" products. Reply 'CHANGE' if you need to change your order. Just today we've had over 100 customers add our No Rinse Cleanser and Flushable Wipes for $10.98 and save an extra 10% off by subscribing. Reply 'SAVE' to add this to your subscription."
Per their directive, I ignored this text since I did not desire those additional products.
On Saturday, October 15,2022 I received another text from "Because" via the same phone number as above, telling me:
"We tried to charge your credit card for your next order, but unfortunately it failed. This can happen for a number of reasons. To avoid disruption in your deliveries, please take a minute to update your payment information here: https://members.becausemarket.com/provision?token=6b21a57".
I immediately checked my bank account... saw that the amount was more than enough for what was needed for this transaction... knew my card was working... and then proceeded to get on my "Because" account via the link they had sent me ( https://members.becausemarket.com/provision?token=6b21a57) to see what the problem could be.
THE PAGE THAT "BECAUSE"S LINK SENT ME TO WOULD NOT BRING UP ANY OF MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION. INSTEAD, IN ORDER TO PROCEED, THEY WANTED A SECOND CREDIT CARD NUMBER!
(Since last month I had already read the umpteen reviews given by MANY dissatisfied customers... something I SHOULD have done BEFORE doing business with this company. And there were PLENTY of "credit card problems"! But I had held out hope that I'd be one of the 30% who would have no problems. Yeah... riiiiiight.)
My husband and I both decided to immediately cancel my account which would cancel all future orders. BUT there was NO 'BUTTON' ANYWHERE TO CLICK ON IN ORDER TO DO THIS. In order to proceed, a SECOND CREDIT CARD NUMBER WAS REQUIRED! And this was definitely something that neither of us was willing to do.
Since there was "nothing to lose" before I had to cancel my credit card altogether, my husband decided to click on the "Because" logo at the upper left-hand side of the screen and YES, THE PAGE CHANGED, AND WE WERE ABLE TO CANCEL MY "BECAUSE" ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY.
A minute or so later, we received an email from "Because", telling us that my account had been canceled.
Believe me, we're saving ALL INFO from this company in case there are any possible future problems with them!

While I have no proof of this and this is just my opinion based on the massive "dissatisfied" reviews given by others, I'm betting that if I HAD added their "No Rinse Cleanser and Flushable Wipes for $10.98" as they had apparently hoped I would, my credit card most likely would have worked just fine, or I would have found unordered items on my 2nd Order as others have reported.
But, again, that's just my opinion based on the reviews of others who had multiple problems after simply having gone to their account page to check things out... or they had difficulty being understood by someone who had a heavy accent (as in another country)... or they answered a text... or they played a "game" of 'Find the New Product' on a "Because" page.
I did like the pads though because they were a little bit thinner and firmer than what I've used in the past. (The narrowest part of the pad kept its form a bit better.)
But they were ONLY EQUAL TO, NOT BETTER THAN the Equate Overnight Pads (that Walmart sells for less) when it comes to how much liquid is held. For overnight sleeping, one-and-a-half pads were still needed to prevent leakage even with well-fitting underpants.
(One pad in place and half of another pad... scissor-cut the long way... placed on top of one side of the first pad. And it doesn't matter which side that 'half' strip is placed on. Yes, this works very well.)

READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING ANYTHING! Only about 30% of the customers say they were happy with their purchase, the service, etc. That means 70% of the customers were NOT happy with their purchase, the service, etc. IMO, there are WAAAAY too many people receiving products they did not order or are having credit card issues. I am one of those who had credit card issues.
