I have a Passbook Account book for a C. D. in my deceased husband's and my names. Originally purchased, I believe, with now defunct World Savings. Have checked with Wells Fargo Bank, who took over West coast (maybe more) of Wachovia. Checked w/CA. Controller's office too. No record seems to exist for these funds. Yet Passbook shows no indication that funds were redeemed or account closed. Can you help?
